Marshfield Trying to Improve Busy Road

-Marshfield Public Works leaders are trying to figure out how to improve a busy road.

Back in February, officials spent $17,000 on a survey and the results have shown that people have safety concerns about Peach Avenue.

Marshfield City Engineer Tom Turchi said, "Peak travel times that are difficult to access the roadway itself, with some of the side street movements. The accident rates we looked at are nothing that would jump out at you, but there are always improvements that can be made.”

City leaders say some of the solutions may include limiting left turns at certain times or widening the pavement.

There is no word on when the changes would occur.
