Marshfield Clinic Honors Wisconsin Residents

Marshfield Clinic on Wednesday honored several central Wisconsin residents for their philanthropy and fundraising efforts that support the Clinic's mission. During the third annual President's Celebration, Marshfield Clinic's Development Department presented the 2012 Spirit of Giving Awards to Pearl Vorland of Colby; Denny and Joan Riedel, owners of The Sports Den in Marshfield; and the Heiman family, of Nasonville Dairy, Marshfield. Marshfield Clinic President Dr. Brian Ewert presented the awards, which are given to people and organizations supportive of the Clinic's mission to provide high-quality patient care, research and education. They also organize the Hub City Days Duathlon (July 2 . Proceeds from the event benefit Marshfield Clinic's Youth Net program for children and teenagers ages 8 to 18 years old.
