U.W. Eau Claire To Host WIAC Softball Tourney

The double-elimination WIAC women’s softball tournament gets underway on Friday at U.W. Eau Claire and continues thru Sunday.
#1 seed Eau Claire will play UW-Oshkosh, the #6 seed, at 10:00 A.M. UW-Whitewater is the #2 seed, and will play 5th-seeded UW-Platteville at noon. UW-Stout gets the #4 seed; the Blue Devils will battle 5th-seeded UW-River Falls at 4:00 P.M. (the complete schedule can be found at wiacsports.com)
The tournament winner receives the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Championship.
