Mouth Watering Works of Art on the Clark County Studio Art Tour

-The Clark County Studio Art Tour is this weekend.
The tour highlights the wonderful artists the county has to offer.
One stop you can make on the tour is the studio of Jan Stommes of Owen.
Jan is a fine artist who combines her love of art and food to make mouthwatering works of art. She even created a book in 2008 called “Art from the Kitchen” to show renderings of classics like the BLT and Corned Beef and Cabbage.
Jan has had her work featured in the “Birds in Art” exhibit and the “Culture and Agriculture” show.
Jan said “I really range a lot in style which is really unusual for artists. I’m very eclectic, so I do from very ultra-realism to very impressionistic. I do some abstract.”
She participated in the art tour last year and is looking forward to it this year.
