La Crosse Man Makes Court Appearance for Drug Charges

-A La Crosse man made a court appearance in Marathon County yesterday.
Tyler Deal is being charged with possession. In March Tyler Deal was driving North on Hwy V with his passenger Paige Metz of Loyal. According to police reports, he lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole on the passenger side, killing Metz.
Police discovered drugs and drug paraphernalia when they searched his car.
During his court appearance, a demand for discovery and inspection was ordered.
As of now, Deal is only being charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and he has a future court date of May 14th.
