BRUCE MOUND SET TO HOST FIREWORKS, 'QUEENS RACE'

For the second straight year, The Friends of Bruce Mound is planning a New Year’s Eve fireworks display. Bruce Mound will be open extended hours on Saturday from 11-5. On top of the fireworks, Forestry and Parks director Mark Heil says the Friends of Bruce Mound is also organizing a “Queens Race”. The tubing competition will feature royalty from area communities.
The fireworks display - said to be comparable in quality to most community 4th of July displays – will begin at around 5:15 p.m.
