Sentencing Date Set for Withee Man

-A sentencing date has been set for June 28 for the 24-year-old Withee man convicted of homicide by negligent driving in Clark County.
Dennis Martin killed 41-year-old Joan Beyer, of Loyal, when he failed to obey a yield sign and collided with Beyer’s van. The crash happened northeast of Loyal in July 2009. Experts estimated Martin's speed at more than 50 miles an hour at the time of the crash.
Martin could spend ten years in prison if a judge sentences him to the maximum sentence.
