Wisconsin's Importance in the GOP Primaries

-How important is the state of Wisconsin to the GOP primaries?
When you are running for the top spot on the G.O.P. ticket, every state, every delegate, counts.
According to WEAU, some states get a little more attention than others. Wisconsin is one of them.
"About half of the delegates will have been selected after Wisconsin is done," said John Frank, a Political Scientist and professor at Chippewa Valley Technical College.
Frank says a win halfway is all about the momentum boost, a test whether it is worth it to go on.
"If somebody doesn't start breaking through right now, it's gonna be a runaway game," Frank said.
