Marshfield Man has Charges Upgraded

-Misdemeanor charges filed last year against a Marshfield man accused of threatening workers at a Madison abortion clinic were upgraded Wednesday to felony offenses.
According to the Marshfield News Herald, A federal grand jury indicted Ralph Lang, 63, for allegedly attempting to interfere or intimidate by force those participating in a program receiving federal financial assistance, and using or carrying a firearm in relation to the crime.
If convicted, Lang faces maximum penalties of 10 years to life in prison.
Conviction of the misdemeanors could have resulted in a prison sentence of a year or less.
