Neillsville Elections Approach
Thursday, March 15th, 2012 -- 9:48 am
Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

-Elections are right around the corner.

Two of Neillsville’s five districts are electing officials. Jerry Quicker, alderman for the third district, intends to seek reelection and has already filed. Dale Berger, alderman for the fourth district, has filed a declaration of non-candidacy and no one has stepped forward for that district at this time.

Dewey Poeschel will be seeking reelection as Mayor of Neillsville. Steve Mabie, the second ward council member, will be running against him though for that position.

The election will be slightly different this year because district boundaries have shifted due to a census.
