Neillsville Girls Are Regional Champs

The Neillsville girls basketball team is moving on to Sectionals after winning their Regional on Saturday night 65-38 over Blair-Taylor.
Behind a big performance from junior guard Caitlynne Naughton, 21 points, Neillsville (24-0) used another big first half effort to down the Blair-Taylor Wildcats in a Regional Final at Neillsville.
The Warriors led 29-12 at the half and never let Blair-Taylor get closer than 11 the rest of the way. Senior forward, Corrina Craig finished with 13 points for the Warriors who now head to the Sectional Semi-Final on Thursday at LaCrosse Logan to face Fennimore (22-2). Game time is 7 pm and you can hear it live on 92.7 FM WPKG.
