-Shelly Stewart explains the benefits of local healthcare facilities.

The Memorial Medical Center Foundation believes that keeping healthcare facilities in small towns is great for the community. It's good for people to know that they can get benefical and even life saving health just a few mintues away rather then half an hour or an hour away.

Local citizens can also build great relationships with their doctors and nurses because the community is so small.

The Memorial Medical Center has a wonderful program that brings in medical students to learn and live right at the facility. They get hands on experience and they get to see the benefits of working at a facility in a small community.

Many of the ideas the Memorial Medical Center Foundation has are outlined in their Vision 2015 program.
