Two people are dead after a two-vehicle crash on USH 12, just south of Humbird. The accident happened Wednesday night at around 7:10 p.m.

The initial investigation indicates a Jeep, driven by 41-year-old Kurt Luedtke of Neillsville was southbound on USH 12, when it crossed the center of the road striking a northbound van. Both Luedtke and the driver of the van, 37-year-old Marilyn E. Colwell of Humbird, were killed instantly. A passenger in the Jeep was transported for treatment of injuries. These are Clark County’s sixth and seventh fatalities for 2005. The investigation continues.
