Local Man Makes Initial Court Appearance for Home Invasion

-Alexander Lee made his initial court appearance today.
Lee’s initial appearance was due to his part in the brutal beating of Lance Poeschel, a man he had shared a home with. Lee has charges filed against him for burglary, battery, and armed robbery among others.
Very little was discussed with this appearance, but Judge Jon Counsell did recuse himself from any future court dates. A recuse is when a judge disqualifies his or herself from the trial due to a conflict of interest; in this case, an existing working relationship with a family member of Lee.
For now, Lee is still being held in the Clark County jail and his cash bond is to remain in effect.
