WIAC Women's Basketball Tournament Underway

The 2012 WIAC Women's Basketball Tournament got underway on Tuesday night with first round action.
#4 seed UW River Falls downed #5 UW LaCrosse 64-55 while #3 UW Whitewater crushed #6 UW Superior 92-55.
In the semi-finals on Thursday night, UW River Falls is at #1 seed UW Stevens Point while UW Whitewater is at #2 seed UW Eau Claire. Winners advance to the WIAC Women's Tournament Championship on Saturday afternoon where that winner receives an automatic NCCA Division III Tournament berth.
