SUPER BOWL WEEKEND BUSIEST FOR DRUNK DRIVING ARRESTS

The State Patrol says this weekend is statistically one of the busiest for drinking and driving arrests.
Major Sandy Huxtable, who heads the bureau of transportation safety, says if you choose to drink, you should plan ahead for a safe ride home.
The state will spend up to 40-thousand dollars buying up T-V and radio air time this weekend to broadcast a commercial discouraging drinking and driving.
Huxtable adds that many people tend to lose track of how much they've had to drink and think they're good to drive when, in fact, they're too drunk to get behind the wheel. If you’re hosting a Super Bowl party, serve plenty of food and have non-alcoholic beverages available.
