NEILLSVILLE COMMUNITY CENTER OPEN HOUSE SATURDAY

The Neillsville Area Community Center is hosting an Open House Event Saturday from 1 to 4 pm. The Center is located in the basement beneath the Bookkeeping Plus building, on the 400 block of Hewett Street.
You can stop in and learn more about this opportunity for the youth of Neillsville. Amanda Muma and her friend, Jennifer Ball, started working on the idea over the summer. They’re both social workers and see a real need for structure after school. The center won’t turn kids away, but will be geared toward Middle and High School students.
The center will be open weekdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. They are currently looking for adult volunteers to assist in supervising youth and help with homework.
