Good Time to Get Snow/Ice Off Sidewalks

Neillsville’s Public Works Director is reminding city residents it’s their responsibility to clean off their sidewalks, and now would be a good time to do it.
Dave Flynn says residents can get a salt/sand mixture from the city garage at the corner of 6th and Oak Street.
With mild temperatures forecast for the next few days, Flynn says this is a good time to try to get those sidewalks back down to pavement.
Under municipal ordinance, property owners can by cited for not keeping their walks clear of ice and snow.
