More Changes At MMC

A longtime staff member at Memorial Medical Center will be leaving the organization in February.
According to a press release, Tina Opelt, a nurse practioner at the Loyal Clinic, is leaving MMC to pursue other professional opportunities.
Opelt has been with MMC since 2001.
Opelt’s announcement comes on the heels of the announced resignation of MMC CEO Scott Polenz.
The Board of Directors acted this week to formally begin the recruitment process for a full-time Chief Executive Officer. They also appointed an interim “team” to oversee Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville, Loyal and Greenwood, which includes Dr. Tim Meyer, Chief Medical Officer, Kelly Moen, Chief Financial Officer, Sharon Bergsholm, Chief Nursing Officer, and Bob Barth, Board President.
Polenz’ resignation is effective January 11, 2012.
