COUNSELL TO SEEK 2ND TERM

 Clark County Circuit Court Judge Jon Counsell will seek a second term. While Counsell’s term ends July 31st, 2006, the actual election for the bench will take place on April 4th. Counsell touts the changes he’s made during his first term, stating the average duration of a pending case in Clark County has dropped from 200 days in 1999 to just 95 days now. Circuit Court judges serve six-year terms.
