Injured Hunter In "Fair" Condition

We have more information about that hunting-related shooting accident near Thorp.
The 17-year-old female victim is in “fair” condition this morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
The accident happened just before 8 a.m. Sunday morning about 3 miles southwest of Thorp.
The initial investigation shows a hunting party was conducting a deer drive when one member of the group shot at a deer hitting the female victim.
She was airlifted to Marshfield. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is investigating, but foul play is not suspected.
