Former Marshfield Clinic Doc Sentenced

A former Marshfield Clinic doctor goes to prison for molesting his patients.
Kevin Lang was sentenced to five years in prison and 10 years on extended supervision.
"Sometimes an act is so egregious, so offensive a person has to be punished," Wood County Judge Greg Potter sentenced reasoned, "and this is such an act."
Lang admitted forcing one woman to touch herself inappropriately as she woke up from sedation and putting his genitals in the hands of other patients.
"You took advantage of them and the vulnerable medical condition they were in to fulfill your sexual needs and cravings," the judge said. "What made it worse is you did it when they were sedated."
Lang apologized and said he prays every day for the victims' healing.
As part of the sentence, Lang must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
He's given up his medical license to practice in Wisconsin.
