Veterans Day Ceremonies Planned

 Friday is Veteran’s Day.
Area communities will host ceremonies to honor our vets Friday.
The annual ceremony at the Neillsville High School will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the Field House. The keynote address will be given by Don Simpson and Amy Peck, who is a seeing-eye dog specialist. The band will also provide music. In Greenwood, there will be a ceremony at the High School at 10:05 a.m. With a presenation of colors by Greenwood Legion Post 238. Lloyd Grandberg of the American Legion Riders will speak. In Loyal, there will be a service at 10 a.m. with a presentation of colors by Loyal American Legion Color Guard. The Loyal band and choir will perform and there will also be student readings and presentation on flag etiquette. The Highground will hold their service at 11:11 a.m. with SFC/E7 James Liedtka giving the keynote address. Liedtka is an Iraq War veteran
