WAUSAU MAN TEXTING, DRINKING, REAR ENDING SQUAD CAR

If you’re driving, you don’t want to be texting-it’s illegal. If you’re texting while driving, you definitely don’t want to be legally drunk-that’s really illegal.
And, if you happen to be texting while driving drunk, you should make sure you don’t rear end a State Patrol squad car.
This actually happened. A Wausau man with a revoked driver's license was drunk and texting when he hit a State Patrol squad car Thursday. Police say they also found an uncased, loaded rifle behind the driver's seat and a concealed hunting knife in the driver's door pocket.
No one was hurt in the crash.
The man is charged with 4th offense OWI.
