The fall harvest is moving right along.

Wisconsin Ag Connection
reports today that farmers made a lot of progress last week with corn now 94 percent mature and 38 percent harvested for grain as of Sunday.

Corn moistures were reported to vary widely from county to county and even from field to field in some areas. Yields are ranging between 150 and 200 bushels per acre range across the state. Corn silage harvest is nearly finished at 97 percent complete.

Combines are also busy with the soybean harvest, which is now 83 percent complete. Yields were reported around 40-60 bushels per acre.

The fourth crop hay harvest is now at 96 percent complete. And fall tillage advanced to 32 percent finished.
