BUSINESSES MUST DECIDE ON CONCEALED CARRY

Businesses around the state are running out of time to create concealed carry policies.
Wisconsin's ban on carrying concealed weapons will be lifted on November 1.
A recent poll of BizTimes.com readers found 74 percent would not allow employees and customers to carry concealed weapons.
In order to ban them from carrying, businesses need to post five-by-seven inch signs near all building entrances, and inform employees in writing that weapons are prohibited.
We did a quick phone survey of several area businesses this morning and found most haven’t decided what to do. One business owner we talked to said he was leaning toward putting up signs.
