TOLL ROADS THE ANSWER?

A conservative think tank is calling for toll roads in Wisconsin to help offset the costs of completely revamping our highway system.
A study for the Wisconsin Policy Research Institute recommends tolls be added to each Interstate after it’s rebuilt. Without the tolls, earmarked revenues are a billion-dollars a year short of what’s needed.
Of course, toll roads aren’t popular with the public.
Gov. Scott Walker has shown a willingness to consider some form of toll roads in the future.
