COUNTY BUDGET TIME IS HERE AGAIN

The are plenty of questions as Clark County's Finance Committee gets ready to start work on their budget.
Finance Director Terry Domaszek says work on the budget will begin in a couple of weeks. She says there will be a budget gap, but she is not sure how big.
Department heads have been told to submit a budget that includes a two percent decrease from current levels.
Union employees are under contract through the end of next year, so the county won't be able to realize savings from their increased pension contributions in 2012.
The budget will be presented to the county board on October 3rd. The budget hearing will be November 1st.
