WOOD CO. WOMAN DEAD AFTER CRASH

A Babcock-area woman is dead after a head-on collision with a semi Thursday morning.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Department says 55-year-old Jeri Dudman was northbound on State Highway 80 around 11 a.m. Thursday morning when she crossed the centerline and hit a semi driving southbound. Dudman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi was checked out at the scene and released.
The crash is still under investigation.
