Wisconsinís latest jobs numbers are in, and theyíre not good.
The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development says the state lost 12,500 private sector jobs in July, and the unemployment rate moved up from 7.6% in June to 7.8% in July.
The government sector added 4,300 jobs.
According to the DWD, Wisconsin suffered from the uncertainty surrounding the federal debt ceiling debate.
Still, Wisconsinís unemployment rate is better than the national rate of 9.3%.
