CLARK COUNTY MAN DEAD, STRUCK BY TRAIN

A Clark County man is dead after being struck by a train early Sunday morning. The accident happened just before 3 a.m. A 22 year old Greenwood man has died as the result of a train vs. pedestrian accident on County Rd N in Atwood, west of Abbotsford. The deceased was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Richard Schleifer. Authorities say the accident scene is not near sidewalks or a place where people should be walking. The accident remains under investigation. The name of the man has not been released.
