NEILLSVILLE MEN'S INVITATIONAL THIS WEEKEND

The Neillsville Men's Invitational Golf Tournament will be held this Saturday and Sunday at the Neillsville Country Club. The tournament consists of 2-man teams, one being a country club member and the other a "visitor". They are split up into 6 flights; Championship, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Each flight's teams are determined in large part by handicaps except Championship Flight. Teams will play 18 holes each day with Championship thru 2nd flight teeing off in the morning and 3rd thru 5th in the afternoon on Saturday and then the opposite on Sunday. The team of Ryan Hediger and Tom McHale are the 3-time defending champions in the Championship Flight. Last year's other flight winners included; 1st Flight: Rick Brussow-Andy Bacon, 2nd Flight: Joe Bethea-Jason Simek, 3rd Flight: Dave Steiger-Jim Riedy, 4th Flight: Ted Brussow-Tony Wilke, 5th Flight: Dewey Poeschel-Paul Klein. The Tournament is open to the public to watch.
