FASTPITCH TOURNEY RESULTS

The Neillsville Booster Club held their 20th annual Fastpitch Softball Tournament on Saturday with 18 teams competing. In the 16 and under division, it was a 3-way tie for first with Neillsville, Chequamegon and Spencer tied with 2-1 records. In the 14 and under bracket the WCCV Lady Stars from LaCrosse finished 3-0 to take home gold medals. Neillsville, Spencer and Marshfield all tied with 1-2 records. In the 12 and under division, Westby Blue defeated Onalaska in the championship with Westby Red knocking off River Falls for the bronze medals. In the 5th place game, Neillsville defeated Black River Falls. In the youngest bracket of the tourney, the 10 & under, the Tri-City Storm out of Chippewa Falls reigned as champs with a perfect 3-0 record. In the game to decide second place Westby edged Neillsville 3-0 to pick up silver medals. The Booster Club would to thank the many volunteers who helped make the tourney a huge success. All profits are used to support youth sports at Neillsville Schools.
