FARM TECH SHOW OPENS
Tuesday, July 12th, 2011 -- 11:27 am Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director
The largest farm show in the state opened Tuesday near Marshfield.
Wisconsin Farm Technology Days opened at 9 a.m. on Tuesday and will run through Thursday at Seehafer Acres, just north of Marshfield on Highway 97.
The show helps farmers stay up-to-date with the latest equipment and technology.
"You know: how that industry progresses to keep the farmers in the know of the knew technology and implements," states expo spokeswoman Jilayne Radtke.
But, you don't have to be a farmer to enjoy a trip to "Tent City."
"We have live entertainment, we have a crafts area, we have health screening areas, you can bring in your well water to get tested," Radtke says.
The annual event rotates around the state each year. Clark County hosted in 2005.
You can find a complete listing of events online at www.marathonfarmtech.com.
Tickets to get in are just $5.
