FEDS: MARSHFIELD MAN INTENDED TO KILL ABORTION DOCS

A Marshfield man is in federal custody after he traveled to Madison allegedly planning to kill abortion doctors.
Ralph Lang, 63, was charged Thursday with attempting to injure or intimidate a person who provides reproductive health services.
According to authorities, Lang accidentally discharged a handgun in a hotel room Wednesday. The bullet went through the door of his room, across the hallway and into a room across the hallway. No one was injured.
Lang acknowledged to police that he had the gun "to lay out abortionists because they are killing babies."
Lang was arrested for reckless endangerment.
