OPELT TO COMPETE WITH WISCONSIN NATIONAL TEAM

With a 2nd place finish in Greco style wrestling on Friday, Phillip Opelt of Neillsville will be a part of the Wisconsin Greco National Team in Fargo, ND in July. Wrestling at 119 pounds at the Northern Plains Regional in Waterloo, Iowa, Opelt took 2nd in Greco and those that place in the top 3 earn a spot on the Wisconsin team that will compete in July in Fargo. Phillip also wrestled in the Freestyle competition on Saturday but earned a tough draw in his first two matches and finished 0-2.
