GIRLS FASTPITCH SOFTBALL CLINIC TO BE HELD

The Neillsville Rec. Dept. is sponsoring a youth Fastpitch Softball Clinic for girls in grades 4-8 on Saturday, May 21st at the Neillsville School. Ms. Ashley Edgington will be the lead instructor with assistance from members of the NHS varsity softball program. Saturday’s agenda will include throwing & catching fundamentals, situations, proper footwork for each position, proper batting swing, bunting, slapping, baserunning, sliding, proper pitching form and catching fundamentals.
Beverage will be provided but campers are asked to bring a sack lunch on Saturday. Fee for the camp is $20. Each pre-register camper will receive a camp t-shirt. If weather is an issue the camp will be moved inside the Fieldhouse. The money raised from the camp will be used to benefit the Neillsville Fastpitch Youth Softball program. Forms which are available in the Middle School office should be returned to the Rec. Dept. at 118 W. 5th St. For more info or to register phone 743-2400.
