CONVICTED KILLER FOUND DEAD IN JAIL CELL

A 22-year-old man, convicted less than two weeks ago of killing his estranged wife’s boyfriend in Stanley, has been found dead in his jail cell.
The Chippewa County Sheriff has confirmed that jail staff found William Ball dead in his cell early Sunday morning.
The death was initially reported as an apparent suicide.
Officials say Ball was not considered a “high risk” inmate and that he was “a model inmate.”
