LOYAL MAYORAL CANDIDATE DROPS OUT

It looks like there won’t be a race for mayor of the City of Loyal, after all.
According to this week’s TRG, city council member Dan Campbell has withdrawn his name from consideration for the post, which is currently occupied by Carol Lampsa.
Campbell cited “personal and professional issues” as the reason for dropping out.
That leaves Mike Hayes as the only announced candidate, though both Hayes and Campbell’s names will still appear on the ballot.
