You know the old saying: Wisconsin has two seasons: winter and road construction.

Well, the latter is upon us.

From WisDOT:

The DOT says the pavement replacement project on eastbound I-90/94 between Tomah and Camp Douglas is restarting. Motorists are advised of crews working in the area and traffic slowdowns. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction March 23 until Memorial Day weekend. Backups in the eastbound direction are expected Friday and Sunday afternoons. Alternate routes are posted and portable message boards will be activated to direct motorists as backups occur. All lanes will be open after Memorial Day with summer work occurring Sunday to Thursday evenings only. The project, begun in 2009, is scheduled for completion October.
