DAVE ZIEN SERIOUSLY INJURED IN MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT

 A former Wisconsin Senator was seriously injured over the weekend in a motorcycle crash in Florida.
David Zien of Eau Claire crashed into a car that attempted to change lanes, went out of control and flipped onto it side on I-10, according to the Florida Highway Patrol
WJHG-TV reports Zein attempted to take evasive action but was unable to avoid a collision. He was flown by Air Heart Helicopter to Tallahassee Memorial Medical Center. He was not wearing a helmet. His nearly new motorcycle sustained about $10,000 damages.
UPDATE: Zien was reportedly hospitalized in fair condition on Monday afternoon. He lost his left leg above the knee, fractured his pelvis and will undergo further surgery.
