Governor Scott Walker signed a modified version of his budget repair bill Friday morning.
Walker also rescinded 1,500 layoff notices sent last week to workers. In a statement, the Governor said the bill will allow Wisconsin to realize $30 million in savings and balance the budget.
Governor Walker planned to hold an official bill signing ceremony Friday afternoon at the Capitol.
