The Wisconsin State Patrol says a trooper was called out to a vehicle on I-94 in Jackson County Tuesday morning after the mother went into labor.
The baby had already been born by the time the trooper arrived.
The mother and child were transported by ambulance to a hospital in Black River Falls where they're said to be doing well.
