NEILLSVILLE GIRL MOVES ON TO STATE BEE

Congratulations to Neillsville 7th grader Kristen Apolinario who won the Regional Spelling Bee in Thorp Wednesday. She will now move on to the Badger State Spelling Bee, which will be held early next month. The winner there will earn a week-long trip to the Scripps Howard National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C., a plaque and $500 U.S. Savings Bond.
