A Neillsville man is in jail and charged with conspiring to distribute methamphetamine and marijuana.

47-year-old Richard Dean Schlusser is facing four felony charges alleging he conspired to distribute meth and pot, delivered meth and ran a drug house just outside of Neillsville.

According to the criminal complaint, authorities searched the home on Fairgrounds Avenue south of Neillsville last month after an informant told them she had purchased meth from one of its occupants.

The meth was apparently channeled through the Twin Cities.

The Sheriff’s Department says the case is still under investigation and expects there will be more arrests.
