DEADLY GAME OF "CHICKEN"

A farmer's death in Fond Du Lac County is potentially a crime, caused by a father and son game of "chicken" with a tractor.
59 year old Lee Batterman was killed when his son, 26 year old Michael Batterman ran him over with a tractor on the family's farm. The jury found probable cause that Michael committed reckless homicide by negligent use of a motor vehicle. The son Batterman expected his father to move out of the way of the tractor, but never did and was killed.
