GREENWOOD DROPS OUT OF JOINT MEETING

What was to be a four-way school board meeting on Thursday will now just be a three-way meeting.
Greenwood superintendent Jennifer Vogler says her board has decided not to attend the meeting on Thursday night in Granton.
Granton, Loyal and Neillsville will discuss enrollment trends, economic projections and the possibility of some sort of cooperation in the future.
Greenwood district voters approved a $500,000 per year revenue cap exemption referendum last Spring that will take them through the 2015-16 school year.
The public is encouraged to attend the joint meeting, which will begin at 7 p.m. in the IMC and will last for about an hour to an hour-and-a-half.
