LOYAL SEES LATE WATER PAYMENTS

According to the Tribune Record-Gleaner, as of the third-quarter of this year, 48 property owners were delinquent on their payments, with nearly $27,000 outstanding. That’s a growing concern, especially seeing that the utility doesn’t have a huge margin for error. Some officials are considering a policy that would allow the city to shut off the water service to customers who do not pay bills.
