WOMAN, 80, SURVIVES BUGGY ACCIDENT

An 80-year-old woman is recovering after being thrown from a buggy Thursday in Monroe County.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Department, a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a Holmen man collided with the buggy just before 4 p.m. after the horse became spooked.
Fannie Miller was treated by Wilton Ambulance and taken to Tomah Memorial Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
