LOYAL, GRANTON WILL MEET

Two area school boards will meet to look at ways to work together.
The Loyal School Board contacted Granton after their referendum failed last week and requested a meeting to discuss “collaboration, cooperation, and /or possible consolidation between the two schools.”
At last night’s regular board meeting, Granton voted unanimously to meet with Loyal, but several board members indicated they weren’t interested in consolidation or cooping sports programs with Loyal. The Granton Board is more interested in discussing the possibility of sharing staff members in some form or fashion.
